ListMinut is a web start-up founded in 2013 by 3 young entrepreneurs, which raised more than 1M euros. Today, the team is composed of 20+ young motivated people based in Brussels.
ListMinut has launched a new way to provide services and make daily tasks carried out in an easy, fast and interactive manner through a web/mobile application with more than 300.000 users. ListMinut is a two-sided marketplace where we allow our users to find reliable help for everyday tasks in their neighborhood (gardening, assembling IKEA furniture, babysitting,…)
You will be joining a team of motivated engineers who can provide mentorship and peer reviews while you gain an understanding of our codebase and business.
Mission
- Challenge, implement and demonstrate the new features within an agile team
- Improve ListMinut’s back-end features and stability
- Help to maintain and improve code quality and organisation
- Monitor performance and bugs in order to guarantee a unique experience to our users
- Participate in the development of internal tools
Required skills
- You have at least 2 years of experience with web development
- You understand the importance of building structured code that is fast, reliable and robust
- You are self-motivated and proactive; ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and take creative feedback constructively
- You want to build an innovative product to be used by thousands of users
Desired skills (it’s a +)
- Know some testing frameworks
- Not afraid to learn different technologies

- Web Back-end: Ruby on Rails
- Web front-end: HTML 5 (HAML & SLIM), CSS 3, etc.
- Mobile App Back-end: Ruby on Rails API
- Mobile App Front-end: React Native
- Database: Postgres, Memcache
- Infrastructure: Heroku, AWS, CloudFront
- Team: Scrum, Git, Github
